Conventional Sandpaper is designed to be more aggressive and leave scratches across your frets.  Micro-Mesh™ is the opposite - in fact the manufacturers call it the "Non-Abrasive Abrasive"   This cloth will remove all tarnish from the frets without lowering the actual fret height* leaving your frets wonderfully shiny and refreshed.
 
* Where conventional abrasives will remove 0.002", Micro-Mesh™ will only remove 0.0001" or less
